8 April 2018, Standard Chartered Kuala Lumpur Marathon is back again for year 2018 and this year Standard Chartered Kuala Lumpur Marathon mark their 10th anniversary of having this marathon here at Dataran Merdeka, Kuala Lumpur ! Well, being the sport-holic as i always am, i make it a point that i must come for this run this year, so i did !
Honestly, until now, i still don't understand why Standard Chartered KL Marathon is said to be the most high standard marathon ever held in Malaysia and it seems like many of my friends are making it a compulsory must run marathon every year. I personally feel that, this marathon event is just the same like any other marathon that i have been to, haha ! Anyway, here is my review on last year Standard Chartered KL Marathon 2017 and the Hostel that i stay this year, which is the same as last year and if you would like to know how to get to Dataran Merdeka from Penang, you can take the ETS which many people do and make sure you stop at KL Station.
The marathon for this year is as good as last year but the one thing that really interest me is the Rotating Medal, haha ! I love the medal very much and i am glad that i am part of this run .. haha !
Route Covered
This year, the running route is very different from last year and i feel that it is actually very much easier to run this year with not much slope to run on.
