Travel Hanoi Vietnam

After coming back to Hanoi Old Quarter from Bai Tu Long Bay we basically have nothing much to do. Well the tour guide from Viola Cruise did offer us a one day trip by car to visit temples and some tourist attraction around Hanoi area but we did not take it because it is not free, hahaha ! If free then we want, haha ! So we decided to walk around Hanoi Old Quarter to look for some food and shopping also at the same time to visit the oldest Buddhist temple in HanoiHanoi Old Town Hotel did not provide us with breakfast so we decided to start our day by go hunting for food, haha !

There are basically rows and rows of shops to shop from. There are shops selling souvenirs, food, tidbits, coffee, cloths and many more !

The one items which is sold almost in every streets in Hanoi is Coffee ! You can basically see specialties shop selling coffee approximately every 50 meters you walk through the street of Hanoi Old Quarter. Some are even next to each other.

I like how the building was build here and how they were structured. It looks like those building in France. I was told that Hanoi was once ruled by France and it is reflected by how their building looks like and the food they eat now.

There is just so much to buy, so much to eat and so much to see here at Hanoi Old Quarter, we walk and walk and shop until night, then we proceed to visit the same night market as the one we did on day 3 which is the night before. One day visit to the night market here is just not enough, haha !

Coincidentally tonight is the night Vietnam Under 23 football team is playing against Iraq and Vietnam won 3-5 on penalty. The entire Old Quarter goes crazy !! Their support for their local football team is so strong .. thumbs up for them and congrats to Vietnam for winning the game.

Every shop that have TV is full with people crowding the place watching football on TV.

And their celebration for winning the game is crazy, yet awesome at the same time !! I am so glad and happy that i am able to witness this .. !
