SP Half Marathon 2017 @ Sungai Petani, Kedah

Sungai Petani Half Marathon, again, it is back ! haha .. Well, for year 2017, the SP Half Marathon was suppose to be held on 16 September 2017 but it was on 11 September 2017, Malaysia get a sad news that Sultan Abdul Halim Mu'Adzam Shah has passed away. Really sad .. T.T. We mourn for the lost of our beloved Sultan of Kedah, therefore the marathon was postpone to 23 September 2017. Probably due to that, many people were not able to attend the marathon even after completed the registration. Less people turn up, means less crowd during the run. But as always, the run is still as good as before.

It was raining really heavily at 5.00 am which is 1 hour before the run, i thought to myself, that's it .. i am going to run wet ! haha .. but luckily the rain stop at around 6.00 am, 10 minutes before the 21 km run flag off .. !

The rain starts pouring again once i reach the finish line, luckily !! Just in time to find shelter, haha ! Design of the medal, as always, nice !! This year, SP Marathon has finisher T-Shirt for 21 km category which is kinda awesome, because not many marathon will give out finisher T-Shirt for a 21 km marathon and only SP Half Marathon is doing it since last year.
