We were looking for local food here during our visit in Gili Air and we google for a bit and found this place, Warung Bambu Restaurant, haha, we went straight and try it.
The staff are friendly here, they were greeting us even before we enter their restaurant. Communication might be a little problem so if you are speaking English with them, try slow it down a little.
Warung Bambu Restaurant is a small place, with not many seating place, so the place get full easily ..
To me, i feel that the food here is just average, nothing particularly special about it, except their Martabak which is tasty. I feel that their specialty here is their Martabak because even before we enter Warung Bambu Restaurant, the staff here keep promoting their Martabak but because we were really hungry, we add on other food as well. Their Martabak is worth trying.
