| Halloween 2016 | Lan Kwai Fong @ Central, Hong Kong

By : Chha

It was Halloween when i was in Hong Kong few weeks ago. It was at the Central area of Hong Kong where the Halloween celebration took place. Lan Kwai Fong Street in particular were closed for vehicles and is only open for pedestrian, allowing people to celebrate Halloween.

Lan Kwai Fong is one of Hong Kong’s most popular nightlife hot spots and home to over 90 restaurants and bars. The atmosphere ranges from stylish wine pairings to raucous jelly shots and the food on offer is as diverse as the clientele. Being the already famous street for nightlife, the Halloween celebration there this year is making Lan Kwai Fong Street even more crowded with peoples.

Lan Kwai Fong usually hosts carnivals and other celebrations during major festivals, such as Halloween, Christmas and New Year and has its own beer festival. It is really awesome for me to be able to experience this during my visit.

People here are dressed up in costume and i can even spot Spiderman hanging around Lan Kwai Fong Street, haha !

It is not only Adult and Kids who are here celebrating Halloween, but the Dogs are here toooo ! haha, The Super Dog is here to save the town, haha ! It was really awesome, the celebration here.

Getting There :
  • Take MTR to Central Station Exit D2
  • Once Exit D2, turn right and walk to Theatre Lane
  • At the junction turn left and walk straight up to D'Aguilar Street for about 200 meters
  • Then you will be walking straight into the Lan Kwai Fong area.
  • Here you will start to see a lot of pub, bars and restaurant around.
For those who are a night owl and are into night life, here is a nice to place to visit.
